As the market leader in the diagnosis, treatment and care of sleep disordered patients in Australia, SCDC is constantly on the lookout for bright, highly motivated new trainees. New trainees undergo a 3 month training program which includes rotations in sleep scoring, night monitoring and CPAP therapy.

Though our formal training program takes place in July and January each year, we encourage CVs throughout the year. To maintain our standards of excellence, we seek people with the following credentials:

1. a combined Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with Biomedical Engineering Background (3rd year upwards);
2. an academic record with a credit average and upwards;
3. exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
4. the ability to analyse and impart information concisely; and
5. a keen interest in sleep technology.
